All this will now change. ‘Home is where the heart is’ for you; isn’t it always, my dear Cancerians? So, quite naturally, you will be streamlining the house and home and making it all the more. Personal issues, property, real estate, family holding and soon grab your attention. Your family life is also important — of all the zodiac signs you are probably the most home oriented. You lavish love and affection on all your dear ones. You also look at your funds and career seriously. There is a lot to be done and several changes to be made on the work and personal front in order that you can achieve the desired success.”
17 January: Moon’s Last Quarter in Libra
“This is heady time in more ways than one. Matters of finance are in sharp focus as also the family. Business and career will be put on the back burner. The finance angle, though, will come in as the family need it, and the two Fs – finance and family – go hand in hand. So you will work for the family and will be very busy. Indeed joint accounts, your bank balance, tax or estate problems need to be sorted out. They keep you busy and will require careful handling. It may be a good idea to keep your own counsel. It is good to be discreet and even secretive about money matters, to avoid problems or interference of any kind. Don’t let anybody into your other affairs; also people around you may want to know more about your dealings. You will have to keep tight-lipped. The good times will roll later, promises Ganesha. This is also a very emotional phase and can be turbulent, so keep your emotions in check. You are not the fiery sort normally, but during this period you could often fly off the handle. Learn to keep cool and handle all the turbulence around you with a calm mind.”
24 January: New Moon in Capricorn
“As you run through January, life gets more and more intense. The Moon is now in your birth sign and there is a lot to do. You need all the tact you can muster to handle people both at the workplace and at home. There is still no getting away from finance and family. You need to step up your own efficiency and tolerance levels. It is not always about you; remember life is not always about `I, me, myself’. You need to look at colleagues, superiors and subordinates with impartiality as you will need them for help and cooperation. Remember, it is teamwork that is important now. There is also buying and selling, speculation and plying the stock market, if so inclined. Last year, in 2019, this was the theme that was played too. You are not particularly money-minded, but the family is top priority and you will do anything for them, including making the greatest sacrifices. There is also love and warmth and generosity. You feel happy.”
