2 February: Moon’s First Quarter in Taurus
“The trends of January change now. There are different pressures and pulls at work. We don’t have to revert to Charles Darwin, Carl Jung or other thinkers to know that nothing is permanent. You will be much more sociable and fun-loving and have a great time at parties, get-togethers and social gatherings, and indulge in good life. There is the powerful influence of Venus in your life right now and you could even end up putting on .weight, with all the goodies being tucked into. Your mind is no longer in a whirl and you are more relaxed. Life is almost luxurious and you spend happily as you want to be surrounded by class and comfort. You love beauty and your home is your stronghold or heaven, away from the maddening world outside. There is love in the air too. If you are unattached there could be that special someone. And if you are already in love, the bond will only get deeper. Ganesha is blessing you in so many ways. But I must add that in the midst of all this, your mind is playing games with you, you are not centred and, sometimes, for no fault of yours, you feel you are moving in the opposite direction.”
9 February: Full Moon in Leo
“The crab is often very calculating and devious but now you get expansive and large-hearted as well. You get brilliant ideas and open up like the rainbow. You think along creative lines, and may even find fresh new lines of employment. You want to live life king-size and chase information and knowledge. It is the age of super consciousness and higher knowledge and what Sri Aurobindo called the making of the ‘super mental man’. You understand all that perfectly. More down to earth, you make valuable contacts and steady progress in whatever you embark on. Your moves are well directed. Money, home, comforts, love and expansion at all levels are foreseen. You have a sense of daring and are ready to take on all corners. Cancerians normally retreat into a shell when hurt, but in this phase, you are charged with inexhaustible and dynamic energy.”
19 February: Moon’s Last Quarter in Scorpio
“The trends of last week will continue. You make several contacts and spread your wings really wide. There is creative expression and inspiration followed by some really hard, constructive work. It is not just theories, plans and hollow dreams. You will roll up your sleeves and get to work. You will be making great progress at all levels and will be reaching out to fresh horizons. There is the pursuit of pleasure too and you can also get indiscreet here, which you have to watch out for, warns Ganesha. But what is life without some fun; you can’t be in expansion mode all the time and working your butt away, can you? Ganesha is with you, thankfully.”
23 February: New Moon in Aquarius
“You may start daydreaming now and live in a world of romantic fantasy. You will focus on your emotions and look at relationships. In this phase you may meet someone with a similar bent of mind and hit it off like a house on fire. In love too, there are happy tidings. You are floating on gossamer clouds. There is romantic love, appreciation. You are also extra-emotional and sensitive and that is saying a lot as Cancerians are anyway highly strung, emotionally. You live with an intensity of emotions and it makes its presence felt in every aspect of your life. Now, your emotions are in fifth gear, watch out!”
