8 December: Moon’s Last Quarter in Virgo
“You enter the last month of the year with a feeling of satisfaction. You have been on an upward spiral for some time now and the money, status and prestige that you have earned are well deserved. Success breeds success and you are full of confidence in your abilities. You sometimes come up with ideas that could be termed ‘crazy’ by average minds but they are actually strokes of genius. You plan for the future ambitiously and systematically and initiate new projects. You have a tendency to underplay your cards and, in the process, catch the opposition in unguarded moments. You don’t have the bluster and aggression of many of the other signs but you slowly and surreptitiously move ahead like a chess grandmaster and checkmate them all. Kudos!”
14 December: New Moon in Sagittarius
“The collaborations that you have inked bear fruit almost immediately. Your fertile brain is abuzz with innumerable new ideas and you are waiting to pounce on opportunities to give expression to them. You will do exceptionally well if you are in the media, sales, law and other professions where there is people contact and ideating. You have the gift of the gab and can be a versatile writer too. Colleagues pick your brains for new, innovative schemes and you come up with them like a magician drawing pigeons from a hat. Others will execute your plans but you are the ringmaster. If there is a tendency to be overtly obstinate or ego-driven, it will be a good idea to curb it now. A lot of creative people have been destroyed by their giant-sized egos, and you don’t have to abort your grand schemes unnecessarily. Keeping your ego hidden is also good strategy and Pisceans are great strategists.”

“The end of the year takes on a new intensity, a sort of culmination of all that you have embarked on. You scale new heights, come up with brilliant ideas and all your efforts are crowned with success. There is merrymaking with friends and family and the time is perfect for celebrations. Children bring joy, and close family will rally around you and share your happiness. You are ambitious but not crazily driven like some of the other signs. Your strength is your manners and style and in ideating. You are not the type to carry a load on your head; on the contrary, you are the type who has the intelligence to pass the buck and make someone else do the dirty work. You are the ideas person, the imaginative visionary and dreamer. Since it is ideas that make the world go round, you do just that.”
30 December: Full Moon in Cancer
“You have tasted hard-earned and richly deserved success. You have also, at times, plumbed the depths of despair and come out of it rejuvenated and strengthened. Your trial by fire has been complete: you have passed with honours in your education in the real world. You have entered new territory with all your innovative ideas and have also managed to make money, which is still the mundane and easy yardstick of success; it is the language we all understand without quarrel. Money buys you dignity and you want to lead a life of dignity. The home is also peaceful and you may be blessed with an offspring, if married. If single, a new love that enters your life is serious and you may make plans to settle down with this person for the long haul. Many lessons have been learnt this year and you have been the lead cast in a snakes-and-ladders game. You realize now that you need to keep from getting swayed and need to watch your emotions closely for success. This is a great lesson and will help you in the long run.”
