There is a lull after the storm. You need to communicate with people and slow down a bit. There are many new ideas to grapple with and you need to discuss all this. There is a chance of new and meaningful relationships developing. There is closer and more intimate bonding as you want to communicate your feelings, grand plans and work ethic. There is travel thrown in and you meet people from many different walks of life. There is a lot of social intercourse and you are happy that it is all working out well for you — personally, professionally and socially.
9 February: Full Moon in Leo
Somehow, all at once, this is the phase when everything gets more hectic. There will be skyrocketing expenses and new sources of income too. You go on a spending spree and buy the best brands. Money is coming from all your ventures, and so you are not unduly bothered. Money wields its own power and you love the feeling. There will be family outings, meeting up with old friends, visits to sanctuaries and parks and many fun times. The year has begun well and you are happy to enjoy it. Your collaborations too are working out, your investments are giving dividends, and your confidence is sky high. You feel that you are on the right track and feel like plunging into the world of high finance even more. There is romance too. Don’t sow your oats indiscriminately — is that the sound advice always. There is a lot of waste and extravagance that you have to guard against. As you know, a penny saved is a penny earned. So you need to rein in your expenses. There will be other preoccupations too as you will also have to look into domestic affairs and little details like children’s education, parents’/in-laws’ health, schooling and the other mundane details and demands of everyday life. Ganesha believes that you will manage to do it all, despite your grand plans. You understand fully that life is all about managing the details too and there is no getting away from it. Success lies in micromanagement. Be tactful and diplomatic in your ways. Try to gain a little serenity to help you cope with life’s passages, and to handle people gently too.
23 February: New Moon in Aquarius
You are reaching out in a big way, in all directions, to all you meet. There is expansion not only in your work but also in your consciousness. You bow down before a higher power and are drawn deeply towards spiritualism, philosophy, moral and social issues, and even religious rites. There will be meetings with old acquaintances and you enjoy happy times with them. Friends mean a lot to you and you realize, in your quieter moments, that life is not all about achievement and money and fame. When the chips are down, it is your friends you can fall back upon and they will bail you out without conditions. This realization spurs you on to make the most of meeting up with old associates and the reunion will be soul-satisfying.
