Fenestrations (openings):
It isthe arrangement, proportioning, and design of windows and doors in a building. Door and windows and their locations affects the entry of good fortune and bad fortune as per Vaastu.Cross ventilation and daylight designs are the main features for fenestration design and their locations.

It is the term for a perforated stone or latticed screen, usually with an ornamental pattern constructed through the use of calligraphy and geometry. Jalis are widely used in Indian architecture from Room dividers, semi open areas, Artistic interiors to ventilated spaces. Widely seen Jalis includes materials such as wood, stainless steel, bamboo, concrete, limestone,exposed brick etc.
Grills are type of Jalis and their main purpose is safety. Grill design patterns also differ from Jalis. Most cases grill design for entire building are same.
