10 January: Full Moon in Cancer
“The year has an explosive start. You give yourself the freedom to wander into unfamiliar territory and to explore new possibilities. Your main wish/desire is to have a free and unlimited life and will make all kinds of efforts to make it possible. The thought ‘I will be positive no matter what!’ will go a long way and there is no need to be ego- driven. You will mobilize your resources and energies to your advantage both at your end in handling your funds. If you are able to keep your cool, you will meet with even less resistance. Work will enable you to grow and develop your needs; and opportunities will change, but you’ll change with them.”
17 January: Moon’s Last Quarter in Libra
“Communication and individual responsibility will be the buzz words in this phase. At work and social settings, you will feel powerful and much sought after. Some kind of a social shift or a change in status is on the cards. You will gain in reputation, but you mustn’t give in to the dark side of power, or a tendency to misuse it. Remember that power has to be both legitimate and accountable. Ganesha says that you will expand your horizons spiritually and this should counter the dangerous ego drives which you are prone to. You often feel that you are the last word in whatever you do and are God’s gift to mankind. Remember, pride comes before fall.”
