8 December: Moon’s Last Quarter in Virgo
“The last month of the year begins with a contemplative state of mind. You will be energized with ideas and want to do many things at many levels but are yet quite withdrawn and contemplative. The focus is also strongly on property matters, journey and creative work. There is suddenly some intense bonding too and you may even get a brand-new image. But you will also need to make the necessary adjustment and do some rethinking of your personal and professional interest which may clash hard at times. Emotions will have to be reined in, and some self-control exerted. You need to keep your extra-sensitivity in check too. Deal with matters with the head, and not always with the heart, counsels Ganesha. You are liable to make mistake that way and you must guard against it, by trying for greater rationality.”
14 December: New Moon in Sagittarius
“Lots of things change now. You are working in many directions. Even your approach to life may change. There will be hectic parleys, communication, even engagement or marriage; several possibilities exist. Some travel is also thrown in and you will certainly reach out to larger audiences one way or the other. Your people skills will be greatly tested, and tie-ups, collaboration, compromises and negotiations will draw on your management skills and bargaining power. You will be flying in many directions and need to keep steady to manage it all well and happily — which you will do in the end. You do work very hard now even though the gains will not be visible for some time to come. The groundwork, however, is well laid.”
21 December: Moon’s First Quarter in Aries
“A slightly intense phase is setting in once again. There are many challenges and you need to be better equipped to achieve whatever you have set out to do. There is a lot of running around and a flurry of activity and communication at all levels. There could be higher studies and more training to help you handle all that you hope to surmount. You don’t really worry about this tense period; in fact, you may even enjoy it as it brings in achievement and success in all your endeavours. Who doesn’t like to sit on top of the pile, and you could well be right up there! The intensity of this period can also tire you out to bits; it is more than what you had bargained for, so a little rest, relaxation, unwinding will all be necessary, says Ganesha.”

“This is certainly a great way to end the year on a truly high note. You are a natural lover of your life and a great rock of your family to lean on, but now money and funds will be vital issues. Bank issues, real estate, bonds and anything that deals with money will be in sharp focus. It is the final week of the year and there is merrymaking too and you are, undoubtedly, enjoying yourself to the hilt. You are also ambitious and see yourself as an important part of society or the community you live in. Work will be fulfilling too, and you walk the fine balance between office and home, as we all know one can’t exist without the other. On the contrary, you are brimming with energy and looking forward to new challenges, in the year ahead, secure in the knowledge that Ganesha is watching over you, as always.”
