8 November: Moon’s Last Quarter in Leo
“Many good things happen to you in an oblique way. There are renewing of social ties and strengthening of old and new acquaintances and friendships. You are also filled with a sense of altruism and philanthropy, empathy for the less fortunate, and you donate generously to all causes. And it is not just for tax benefits. The feeling is genuine. You counsel and mentor those who need it and lend a helping hand wherever it is needed. You also, strangely, feel a sense of guilt which is unnecessary. If you are born lucky, it doesn’t hurt to share the excess at your disposal with those who aren’t so fortunate. Learn to enjoy your blessings. This is however a good time to be humble and live in gratitude to the maker.”
15 November: New Moon in Scorpio
“You have been growing in many profound ways and you are keen on sustaining this growth. You spread out to many areas of study and look for masters and seers. Your interests stretch to the occult, psychology, religion, philosophy and other related areas. There is also hard work to be put in at the office. A lot of diplomacy will also be required in domestic matters to keep the peace at home. You realize that it is not easy doing it all and it may get tiring and irksome. You feel that you are the last word in creation and do whatever pleases you most in a display of self-centredness. You feel you are a power centre and a law unto yourself, but no one can be that — only Ganesha.”
