1 April: Moon’s First Quarter in Cancer
The scope of your activities, especially professional ones, will narrow. This phase is all about money and money matters. Income, assets and all sorts of monetary gains are your major pursuits. The desire to have a larger income overshadows all your other considerations and activities. Your working life will hover around business issues, acquisitions, capital, funds and so on. Yes, this is a good time to launch a project, finish pending work, take on new assignments. Lending/borrowing/ investing/buying/selling/shopping will all continue to be very important. You are motivated not by greed but by the practical common sense that has realized that material success is also necessary for true peace of mind. You need to keep the family happy and there are mounting expenses to reckon with. Money does sweeten life, and who doesn’t want a sweet life?
8April: Full Moon in Libra
Life has taught you, in recent times, to assign realistic goals and priorities. Once again, the focus is on the material plane. You are looking at providing comfort, security and protection for both yourself and your loved ones. Many issues need to be resolved. Real estate property, renovation and family matters are uppermost in your mind. You also need to get your way without hurting others and that is a tightrope walk. Family matters do get resolved, but with the usual strife and turmoil. There is no getting away from domestic bickering, whatever you may do. Sometimes, you feel as if you are being taken for granted and it’s difficult to conceal these emotions as no one likes to be undervalued, especially by loved ones. Don’t allow this feeling to grow. Nip it in the bud and get on with your work as though all is well. It is the only way to combat domestic strife. Without being rude, pretend that all is well and go ahead.
14 April: Moon’s Last Quarter in Capricorn
This is a very good period with the full moon in your own sign. This interesting and reasonably profitable phase is all about money and honey (my favourite phrase). The highlight is personal and shared finances. Love, passion, romance, partnerships and trade also flourish. Ganesha says that you have a very hectic time ahead and your plate will be full of professional and emotional demands. But you are determined to enjoy it all and give your very best to the situation. I assure you that in the long haul this will pay dividends. There may also be a short journey in the offing and some legal issues or law courts to deal with, as there may be settlements and compromises to arrive at. You will be in the thick of negotiations of various kinds. Yet, what matters most will be the feelings of sharing, togetherness, bonding and warmth. You will aim for harmony in all aspects of your life and will achieve it. There will be parties, old associates dropping in, and a lot of wining and dining.
23 April: New Moon in Taurus
You change tack. Pretty dramatically this week you will also have more time to pursue hobbies and interests that are close to your heart. Here, love needs to be mentioned in particular. This is where you register your greatest and most pleasing gains. Loved ones, your spouse/partner in particular, will get special attention. There may be more than one person who falls in the ambit of your love interests. Thanks to this mood, there is a greater joy and it is more enjoyable too. You are in great form. There is money in hand and you are emotionally happy. You are fun to be with and therefore immensely popular. Again you are the life of the party!
30 April: Moon’s First Quarter in Leo
Watch out for new developments. You will be looking at true growth, comprising your own assets and your larger role in the community. You will look inwards at your own limitations and will also spend time with welfare activities and charities. You move positively from the worldly affairs that occupied you till recently to more self-analysis and introspection.
