WEEKLY REVIEW BY PHASES OF THE MOON
10 January: Full Moon in Cancer
“You made remarkable progress last year, and in all probability, depending on the personal horoscope of course, the progress of good trends will only continue in 2020. You are relating better to people both close to you and to outsiders, and you will be expanding your scope of interests/work in several directions. There is profitable travel foretold, resulting in several new projects that you are keen to embark on and make a success of. Family life and health remain stable. You have a tendency to overspend and it may help to curtail expenses now. I also advise you not to shoot your mouth off too often. Besides, don’t trust strangers as there is also an element of deceit and betrayal working in this period for you. Be your guard and all will be well, says Ganesha. Finally, when in doubt, entrust your cares to a greater power and Fie will take care of you.”
17 January: Moon’s Last Quarter in Libra
You move along quite well as the year unfolds to its second week. All your financial affairs and other commitments are under control and there is a semblance of peace in your life. You feel that you have finally arrived on the big stage and decide to push further to consolidate your efforts. There are also family responsibilities to attend to and some sudden expenses which may require extra liquidity or just more cash! There may in fact be a cash crunch but you manage to squeeze out of it. You may be strapped for time as there are heavy work demands. You may find that the resolutions you made for 2020 don’t stick. You have broken promises to yourself about easing up. Some discipline will help.
24 January: New Moon in Capricorn
“This is time for family bonding. You loved your circle of friends and hate hurting anyone deliberately. As a result, there are huge demands of your time and you spread yourself very thin. Your personal affairs suffer as a result. Remember, you can’t please everyone all the time, and if you try this, you may only be hurting yourself, and the ones who are really close to you. They may begin to feel that you are neglecting them, but that is not true. Make a checklist of what needs to be done and prioritize your targets. You are highly talented and expressive and love all forms of communication. In fact you are always a big draw for your skills and also your values. There is always an innocence and honesty in your dealings and you trust implicitly. You now turn to the home, hearth, home away from home, domestic and filial duties, the sense of satisfaction that these bring. There is greater confidence, sharing, love and self-belief. Whatever the situation, and no matter how harsh it may be, you smile through it.”
