2 February: Moon’s First Quarter in Taurus
“You are filled with new ideas and your imagination runs riot. You also start thinking of the dark areas of life and get into unnecessary negativity and depression which you have to guard against. You think of unhappy moments in the past and fret about them. Please remember that the past is spilt milk and there is nothing that you can do about it. Learn from your mistakes, don’t repeat them and don’t dwell on them. There is a change in the earlier trend here and you lose the edge at work. Spiritual, religious, occult and esoteric matters take centre stage and your mind and emotions are in whirl. You know something is amiss but can’t put your finger on it. You are like a dog which is looking for its tail and not finding it despite furiously running in circles. There is movement, new associations and many new realizations. You are unsure if money and the mundane trappings of success and achievement of the real world should be your goal or whether a higher calling awaits you. Hold on and be patient, says Ganesha, and the answers will come.”
9 February: Full Moon in Leo
“You are straightening out and begin to see things more clearly. You realize your role in the larger scheme of things and understand your responsibilities clearly. If you have a family, there are duties towards them from which you cannot run away. There are also work pressures and you begin to understand and accept all this. This is a vital learning experience. Now your focus is clear and there is no stopping you. You shine at work and receive plaudits. There are expenses, purchases, family issues to sort out and many other challenges which ground you. Whether you like it or not, you have to work hard. There is also money to be made and you see the writing on the wall.”
19 February: Moon’s Last Quarter in Scorpio
“This period is full of strenuous activity. You are fully involved in work and manage to make remarkable progress. All your inherent cunning comes into play while signing documents and entering new business deals which work out in your favour. You entertain lavishly and make many purchases for the home and office. You may also consider shifting into a larger, newer and brighter home, or may even shift into an upscale new office. This is a good period for all the ventures that you have embarked on and you ride the crest of success. On the negative side, you must work on your ego management skills. There may also be a tendency to indulge in food, drink and romantic pursuits which you should guard against. Take care of your health. Remember, that it is the only wealth and you must never barter it for pleasures of the senses.”
23 February: New Moon in Aquarius
“You are racing away like a Formula 1 car. There is tremendous growth in all areas of activity, and some truly interesting and promising offers and opportunities will come your way. You are ambitious, energetic and ebullient and make the most of the situation. You grab everything that is offered and strike hard which is a good thing because fortune is now shining on you. There is passion in your life and you have to watch your step. There is tendency to overdo and step out of bounds. The sheer momentum of the period may just carry you away like a fig leaf in a thunderstorm. Ganesha warns you to be careful and moor yourself till the tempest passes.”
