Angela Merkel
Angela Merkel of Germany is a Cancerian. She has the necessary qualities of a fine leader. But it is her sensibilities and her way of doing things including compromise at the right moment which makes her outstanding. The very fact that she has taken in so many refugees deserves praise and applause. A very worthy leader of a very great country.
Vladimir Putin
Vladimir Putin the Libran is a man of many parts, not all of them perfect and good. But he has the imagination, the organization and the past experience as head of the KGB to make an efficient leader, though not a great one. The next two to three years may find him pushed into a corner from where it will be difficult to get out.
Xi Jinping
Like Donald Trump, Xi Jinping is also a Gemini. But he is far more intelligent, practical and worldly-wise to betrapped and pushed around. He will be more than a match for Donald Trump but he is also very hard to deal with and may not get along very well with India. India should be very careful in all her dealings with China. It is a tough proposition.
Kim Jong-un
Capricornian Kim Jong-un is hard-headed, strong-willed and certainly overtly ambitious and exceptionally egoistical. In short he is a tough nut. All tough nuts should be dealt with cautiously but with infinite wisdom and diplomacy. He is not the best of leaders is all that I can say. I repeat here once again that I am not God and I could be wrong. The simple reason is I have not met any of these leaders except NarendraModi personally.
