kiranhegdelive.com is founded by well-known journalist Kiran Hegde. Kiran had 34 years of rich experience as an respected journalist when he started KHL. Now, Kiran Hegde is the editor of KHL. His expertise in journalism covers a varied genre of news reportage including, Labour, Political Affairs, Crime, Civic, Infrastructure and Business, Cultural and Community reporting, besides having been on the forefront in reporting live during natural calamities like the devastating earthquake in Latur and Mumbai riots after 1984 to 1992-93.
His rich work experience covers stints with reputed Marathi news organizations like Mumbai Tarun Bharat, Saamna, Midday, Jansatta, Sanj Loksatta and Weekly Lokprabha, Lokmat, Prahar, Navshakti, Punyanagari etc. He is still contributing occasionally for All India Radio and Doordarshan.
